1010 WINS off the air as of 12:30AM

currently,Services to the main 1010 WINS signal is unavailible at this
time,for 1010 WINS Service,use 102.7FMHD-2 or 1010 WINS.COM for
further information, for now,use your GE Superadio III to pickup more
1010kHz signals(currently co-channel interference)

Thanks for listening.

So were people in New York City also receiving CFRB-AM 1010 from Toronto? Their station mixes back and forth with WINS-AM here in New Britain, CT every night.

If memory serves, CFRB and WINS allow some overlap in each other's protected contours as a way to get WINS better metro coverage. Scott Fybush would probably have more on this than I do.

I have at times picked up WINS 1010 at night in East Central Florida. Even though I am only about 120 miles from WQYK 1010 in Tampa.
