Why don't Radio One consider using the 102.7 FM frequency here in Detroit for a 24/7 Classic Hip Hop and R&B format, instead of Gospel Music?

I'm amazed that R1 is able to "pick up" ANY new stations they sold off many and have been in financial turmoil too.

I believe that is the reason why 107.5 frequency is being operated via a LMA rather than being purchased because Radio One lacks the funds to purchase anything.

Radio One is currently waisting 50,000 watts of power on 102.7 FM here in Metro Detroit playing Gospel Music, Classic Hip Hop would have been better. I'm gone try to write to Radio One my suggestion for Classic Hip Hop on 102.7 FM Mount Clemens/DETROIT.
And another thing I will mention is that Radio One still is playing Gospel Music on AM 1200 WCHB when their talk programming go off the air at night at 11 PM here in DETROIT.
Radio One could always put Gospel Music on 105.9 WDMK HD-2 CHANNEL and relay it to their FM translator station in southern Oakland County at 99.9 FM and name it Praise 99.9 .
