Changes Announced for 103.9 FM

A year after launching as a Rhythmic AC, SummitMedia shifted “103.9 The Groove” WRKA Louisville to Adult R&B over the holidays.

The move eliminated any pop crossover remaining from the playlist from the likes of Justin Timberlake and Ed Sheeran. It places the station in direct competition with Alpha Media’s “Majic 101.3” WMJM.

Changes take place January 6th.
 
That has to be one of the most subtle changes I've ever heard. I've been listening to the station since it began and never noticed any changes, but now that I'm seeing in writing that they did indeed change the station over, it all seems so clear now.
