I hope to hear it when I am down to the beacccch in a week or so! Wife says we're driving to Apalachicola.
Ok! Yes, CW I am praying that all hell won't break loose and I get get down to PCB for gin and beer with you and the affable Jennifer Wooten! Is this new Oyster station programmed locally? Sounds like a great format.

This reminds me of the short-lived "Beach Radio" in the mid-1990s. A simulcast of 3 FM stations, on or near the North/South Carolina coast. Anyone else remember that?

There's no simulcast going on down in Apalachicola. Those are three distinct stations with the same owner.

Will give it shot down here in Holiday! With it warming up this week end- just might make for the right conditions.

Yes, I definitely remember that. It was called the Breeze, as it consisted of 3, eventually 4 FMs carrying beach music throughout the Carolinas. You had that huge 99.7 signal in the Savannah/Charleston areas (with a signal all the way down into NE Florida), 98.9 in the Georgetown/Myrtle Beach area, 106.7 in the Wilmington area, and 98.5 in the Columbia area.

Heard today (Sunday) at 4PM CST with fairly good signal considering pretty dead band conditions. I like those "Oyster Rock" and the "Forgotten Coast" tags.
