104.7 Kiss FM Phoenix Following In KIIS FM's Footsteps - Moving Back To A More Mainstream Sound

104.7 Kiss FM Phoenix Following In KIIS FM's Footsteps - Moving Back To A More Mainstream Sound

Looks like KZZP 104.7 Kiss FM Phoenix is starting to lean a little less on Rhythmic hits. Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is getting some airplay, as is Gorillaz "Feel Good Inc.". Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You" is Top 10 at the station.
Edited by CHRles on 10/02/05 12:42 AM.

This is VERRRRY old news. KZZP was reclassified (on mediabase) a CHR/Pop station about a year ago.

But of course you don't live in Phoenix, thus you would not know this. :)

This is NEW news as in the past few months 104.7 Kiss FM, while classified as Mainstream CHR/Pop, didn't play anything that wasn't Rhythmic aside from Kelly Clarkson.
Like I was saying, it looks like KZZP is following in KIIs's footsteps.

Like I said, it is news. You're rarely on this board, what are you doing here anyways??

I can follow up on what KZZP is doing via mediabase, and yes.com, and I was probably the first one to post KZZP's webcast feed awhile back. Maybe I listen to it more then you do, LOL.
Now If I'm telling you that KZZP was all-Rhythmic for awhile, and I'm saying it repeatedly several times, then you can show me some respect for it.
Stop questioning what I say here, just b/c I said some negative things about Energy Arizona in the past.

Charles (whats your name again?)
