I'm listening to the stream now and haven't heard a mention of the rebrand, nor is "Trump Country" on the website's homepage. Also, the station seems to have flipped to a Christmas format. If management truly is going to use the station as a billboard for Trump, I couldn't think of a worse time to start doing it.

There is no current stream or website for the current station. The stream you're likely listening to is associated to the former owner and now tied to the station he operates in Pocomoke City, MD.
 
No mention of the rebrand there, either. But scroll down a few screens and there's a shout-out to Elon Musk and a pic of a dog wearing a MAGA hat. So I guess that's where Sweet Tea is coming from.

OK. Sneaky, sneaky. How about the Facebook page linked by Lance two posts back? You'd think the rebrand would be there if the OP's report is to be believed.

The Facebook page is the personal page of the co-owner/operator/afternoon host of the station, not the station itself.
 
Screw it. Here's the longer one 🤬:

106.3 WYAY long ID (11/18/24)

I called Sweet Tea Radio and voiced my displeasure. They still seem to play a lot of the same good music that Carolina Country did, but I cannot in good conscience listen to WYAY or WGLD anymore after making their branding political for no good reason.
