Update 8/31: The Original Company will flip Variety Hits “107.1 Jack-FM” WEJK to “Classic Hits 107.1” when it begins operating the station on Monday, September 1. WEJK will fill the void created when Townsquare Media flipped 105.3 WJLT to Sports in July. Dave Westrich, who exited WJLT after the flip will join WEJK for afternoons. The Evansville Courier & Press reports the station will be jockless in all other dayparts for now, but feature hourly news updates from 6am to 12pm and at 4 and 5pm.
