I still think of the station as WDLX, so it's not like "WERO" is a legacy to behold and cherish.

Double J said:Well it's "official" it's on the air and they have a website at http://www.thepromise1073.com/ . Check it out for all the details.
quadraphonic said:Even so, Big Ben if you want the WERO call letters, they are yours.
We bequeath them to ya. Do what you will with them.![]()
quadraphonic said:I know it's supposed to mean "Arrow" but it looks more like "EROtic."
I guess they could play that angle up some, but it would probably get old faster than "Arrow" would, or "WDLX" whatever they would want to spell with that. "Deluxe," "Dill licks," "WD60," that one's got possibilities!! ;D

Actually it was Deluxe if I remember correctly when they had the DLX calls. I think it was "The Deluxe FM 93.3 WDLX".
pbf1 said:I worked there, too (circa '88-92). They were The Hot FM, too, long before those other guys.
We had a pic of a DLX sticker on an East German warning (Achtung!) sign from before the wall came down. Priceless!
