107.9 the talk station and 96.1 the new beat

I'm in east Charlotte and Hitz 94.1 comes in well here too. I like what they're doing for what it's worth. Much better than the music "The Link" plays.

To the guy who said the Oldies format will never return to regular radio all I can say is never say never. We never expected Big Bands and Sinatra to come back either but along came the "Music of Your Life" format. I would not be so bold as to predict what the next "new" format will be.

I'm glad the Nashville stations are better than what we have here. It is after all a very big music city and not just Country music. Did you know that Charlotte almost became a Country music city? RCA used to come to Charlotte to record Country acts in the early days. There is a historical marker downtown on Tryon Street with the information....sorry for wondering off topic!
