I wonder if this is due to interference from WLNK - 107.9 The Link from Charlotte? Driving south down 26 the Charlotte signal is strong until near Columbia.

I may be reading these wrong, but both applications appear to be old. The one for 106.1 was filed on 5/12/2011 and shows a status of dismissed on 5/23/2011. The 103.5 was dismissed just recently on 7/18/2012. Interestingly that one was filed by the old licensee GETHSEMANE ANABAPTIST CHURCH on 9/10/2008.
