1360 JAZZ CAFE joins the Retro Radio 1360 Line Up this Saturday!

This Saturday from 3-7pm, blast back in time to the days when things were cool and the music was hot. The swingin' days of Ellington and Basie, Brubeck and Desmond, Baker and Coltrane, and many, many more of the musical geniuses who filled the world with the incomparable sounds known as JAZZ on the 1360 JAZZ Café hosted by veteran KXOL 1360 jock, John Lewis.

Don't get mad...Jim Thomas will be back the following Saturday with "70s Saturday Afternoon" from 3PM-7PM. But as a bonus this weekend, Randy Carlisle will spin the "Real Oldies" both Sat and Sun morning 9AM-noon!

Really, you should consider the whole 1360 deal to be block programming...hence the shifts from 80s to 1975-95 to 1945-65 to whenever...let alone the differences in music stylings! I'm letting the guys pick their own music and to cover the genre and styles they know the best.

Legit question and I was planning to do an oldies show but with Jim Thomas and I alternating Saturday time slots I wanted some distinction between he and I and besides that is his gig and who better to do it.

So turn that frown upside down daddy-o and give it a listen ;)
