'19 Kids And Counting' facing cancelation following removal of gay kiss photos

19 Kids And Counting might get canceled by TLC after the Duggars outraged thousands of people a couple of weeks ago. As most people know, the Duggars asked their married fans to share their love with the world by posting a kiss photo on a Facebook thread. Whoever runs the Duggars' Facebook page went through the photos and deleted all of the pictures that were of same sex couples.

According to Hollywood Life, there is now a petition (at least one) calling for TLC to take action. Thousands of people have already signed the petition, and are still outraged that the Christian family was so outwardly unaccepting. And it's not just gay people who want the show off the air. Thousands of straight people had a problem with the photo deletion as well.

"For members of the LGBTQ community, it’s not okay to have a show on air that publicly disses homosexual couples. We know that the group already signed a petition on Change.org, and as of today, Nov. 20, 2014—there has been 75,000 signatures!"

I suspect I know what Avid Listener will say about this: another case of political correctness gone mad and people trying to censor the Duggars for their religious beliefs.

The headline for the article posted and this thread is misleading. There is nothing in this thread that says that TLC is actually considering cancelling the Duggar's show, only that a petition has been started demanding that it be cancelled. Although I don't watch the show I hope that TLC will ignore the petitions and keep the show on.

And I agree that it's their Facebook page or is at least representing them, and they have the right to do what they want with it.
