Five years from now Jones will be flat broke after his so-called church takes most if not all of his money.
Why is everyone asuming that the church that Angus T. Jones is a member of is not a true church but a cult? I've never heard of the church until yesterday, so I know very little about this particular church. It may be a cult, but then again, it may not be a cult. Why is it that everytime some one turns their life around and starts professing that they found religion or develop a relationship with Christ, we are so quick to judge them as going off the deep end or that the church or religious sect they are now affliated with is a cult? Yet, when someone becomes a muslim or a Sciencetogolist, we are suppose to question their beliefs?
Seventh-Day Adventists are not a cult.

They just believe Saturday, not Sunday, is the Sabbath.

On the other hand, their practice of worshipping on Saturday gave a church I used to go a temporary home. So you'll forgive me, I hope, for having this bias. My church was in the inner city (okay, 70,000 people IS a city) and shortly after my parents and I moved to where I live now, the church made the decision to merge with a new suburban church they were helping start. The Seventh Day Adventist church was one of the new church's temporary homes. The new church has had its own building for 20 years now.

The maintstream 7th Day Adventist Church may not be a cult, but the man Angus Jones appears to be following is Christopher Hudson. The church has distanced itself from Hudson, stating; “He’s an independent ministry, not a pastor.”

Some of Hudson's past pronouncements:

- Rapper Jay-Z is a devil-worshipping Freemason.

- Masturbation is a sin.

- Obamacare is a “carbon copy” of Hitler’s health-care policies.

- New York City’s post-Hurricane Sandy gas shortage was a harbinger of a food-shortage crisis and cannibalism, referencing a “similar” event in the Bible when the city of Jerusalem was seized by the Roman armies in 70 A.D: Quoting Hudson; “It was so severe that women began to cannibalize their own children. Your baby may start looking like a chicken wing.”

The man Jones is idolizing is no mainstream 7th Day Adventist.

Okay, thanks for this information. I hadn't researched this.

I read that the day after his negative comments, Angus Jones apologized to the cast and crew of Two and A Half Men.

Maybe the idea of losing that $7 million dollar a year paycheck gaves Jones time to rethink his statement.

Meanwhile Chuck Lorrie most likely has already written the episode where Jake goes off to Afghanistan, never to be heard from again. Thus ends the acting career of Angus T. Jones.

"Angus, this episode is called 'Farewell, Henry Blake.'"

The story line last night was Jake calling from "Army Camp" proud to tell his father that he got the clap from his girlfriend.

So where are Jones' parents in the all of this? I know he is 19 years old and considered an adult, but if my kid was heading in the direction of ruining his career by listening to the advice of some religious-nut, I sure as hell would step in and do my best to get this zelot out of my kid's life.
This Hudson fellow, in my opinion, is just interested in Jones' money and if certain people can't see that then they have blinders on.

Taking bets that Les Moonves won't allow Jones to return next season.

Seems like a safe bet to me. That kid is barely on the show anyway, he's in one Skype scene a week. They could tape all of those for next season in a day.

Or, they could just kill him.

Or they could just cancel it already due to down ratings...it needs to go-pronto.

Even with down ratings, it's still one of the top 5 shows. And it's all about money. Until it stops printing money, it's getting renewed.

I agree with him, but not for the same reason. Any show that has Miley Cyrus in it (even in a recurring role) is indeed "crap." "Ewwwww!!" (Have to watch the show to catch that reference! ;D)

At any rate, if Angst (er, Angus) leaves the show, won't they need to change the name of it? To paraphrase "Yesterday" by the Beatles, Angus isn't the "half the man" that he used to be! ;D

According to another media site Miley Cyrus is being considered to replace Angus T. Jones. If that is true then calling the show "Two and a Half MEN" would be kind of dumb. But then again we are talking about media consultants. ;D

He's not smart enough to be sent into combat.

Though he could do what Finn on "Glee" did. That got him kicked out of the army, but his aim was off.

On "2 Broke Girls" the girls have opened their new cupcake shop. In the Christmas episodes, their really short boss and two co-workers showed up and one of the girls called them "The two and a half Wise Men".
