Heritage 50,000 Watt FM located centrally to those cities in Watseka, IL seeks a reliable person to gather, write, and deliver news for an undetermined period of time. This is a broadcast setting that runs on SS32 and Adobe Audition and you must be well versed with these pieces of software, or easily trainable. You must be able to write well, have a critical ear, have strong digital and organizational skills and be passionate and able to deliver a quality LOCAL newscast. The qualified candidate will be able to gather, produce and present news reports for our live and pre-recorded 7a, Noon, and 5 newscasts as well as shorter updates through the day. You will be able to provide strong news judgment and writing ability. We are a highly localized station in rural America with a signal reaching into Lafayette, Champaign, Danville, Joliet, and the South Chicago Suburbs. WGFA is EEOC.
