Hmmm. It's not legal to translate a commercial station like WTTS in the non-commercial band.

Either A. The Nostalgia station is on 91.5
B. WTTS has the translator on 93.7
C. Clubber is picking up some weird harmonic on 91.5 for WTTS, all depending of course on his location

or last, but not least,
D. MWC is bored, and making things up, which he's been under suspicion of doing before.

The only translator shown for WTTS is on 95.9 in Bloomington.

Come to martinsville and listen to this 93.7 nostalgia format,,, And WTTS was on 91.5 or else they were playing the same song.. This is all in martinsville.

Just checked my radio and they are both off at 6:06 AM two days later.. this is odd,, I have no clue about 91.5 and WTTS ,, it may have been a spure,, but the 93.7 could be a new LPFM testing, They had a TOH ID as WQLS.....

WQLS is 90.5 Camden Alabama. They aren't allowed to reuse the calls are they?

Oops, says its currently off the air.

It was prolly either a pirate or a new LPFM testing,, Maybe its Bruce Quin,, perhaps he may know something.. I know im not making this up.. Its quite possible that tts on 91.5 was a spure, as they sometimes have these problems.. I found an AM with those calls, but that doesnt mean an FM cant use them.. It kinda makes me think it may be a pirate cause It had to be in martinsville, and it would be too close to 94.1 in Martinsville.

"I run a Comunity station in my small town on 93.7 since 1999 called Mystery FM.... the purpose of the station Who's format is NONStop Rhythm and Dance serves our town because there is absolutely no station in my area that plays hip Hop,, net along that plays dance music, so the station has a strong following with 15 to 40 yr olds, and since we are in a valley, we are shielded out from the big city stations,, but we air local Weather,,, we have EAS and Amber Alert, and air school closings and all that... we have a local station, but it is now ran almost completely off the bird,,, Mystery FM was able to give early warnings for our Tornado in 2002,, may have saved some lives,, yet our local station was automated and jockless, so good luck on getting info there... Not every small town community station has to be Oldies, Standards, Country, or Religious,,, you can play Hip Hop and Dance music, Urban,,, Rock,,,, Top 40 ... and still be community involved... We actually also got an STA, and hopefully by summer of 2010 we can get a full LPFM license,,, Also,,,, on sundays, we air Church services in the morning and play a mix of CHR Christian and Black Gospel in the evening, and on sunday nights we have 100 percent Nostalgia,, the rest of the week its all dance and Hip Hop,,, similar to the former 95.3 party in Orlando..."

Can you provide us with some more clues (KLU's)? So, who does Bruce Quinn know
in Martinsville? A former pirate buddy? A former employee?

Tired Old Dog~perhaps you may remember WQFE/WKLU's former engineer? I believe the following will be the clue you asked for: I was told he was arrested, & convicted for stealing WKLU's equipment!!!! He lives in Martinsville. According to an ex KLU employee, he loved oldies on WQFE way back in the 1900's, & was really ticked off when Bruce Quinn flipped WQFE to WKLU! Maybe he found a new use for their equipment starting in 1999? There may be some pirates that just never learn, since he was also busted for pirating in 1966!? Might be fun to take a field strength meter to Martinsville just for giggles! Fall is my favorite time of year for long road trips to Brown Co.! This time via the Martinsville path! In regards to Bruce Quinn, I will say I am most certain he is not involved in such shenanigans since I just recently spoke with another radio station owner, & was told he is critically ill.

Mystery FM was moved to 93.5 a long time ago to avoid giving and getting interference from WRMR,, then to 87.9 because during tropo this past summer I got hammered out on the Frequency 93.5 that is.,,, and then to Internet Only Mystery Radio (INDIANA'S Dance Authority),, also currently off air.

I certainly wouldnt be running a nostalgia format... If anything it would be Dance or Oldies, or a Self Recipied CHR Format, I know nothing about the station I heard the other night.

The reason I mentioned Bruce is because he got a CP for a 93.5 or 93.7,, ANother reason why I moved,, Once I learned Shoutcast I left RF for good, and I paid all royalties to make it legal...

The internet stream is silent for now do to constant drop outs from comcast,, but I plan on a relaunch somtime in 211, simplay as NapTown Energy Radio.. The name Mystery Indicated that it was indeed pirate, and no one could know where my stick was, and im still not telling...

I was also involved with a part 15 AM with Dance, Classic Country and Oldies, all on seperate X band channels,, they had a range of about 2 blocks,, But do to disputes with me dating his ex G/F I am no longer involved, and havent been since 2008.

I work at the Humane Society and love my Job, and dont have time to constantly monitor an FM station and keep the TX Hidden... and Risk my life and arrest setting up relays on cell towers...

You were setting up "relays on cell towers"? Wow, just WOW Clubber.... and you wonder why you've been getting so much grief on the Indiana board lately....

Speaking of which, I thought you weren't going to post on the Indiana board anymore. What happened to that plan? Give it up. Nobody is buying any of your stories anymore.

My stories are true You guys are just biscuit heads,, and I will quit posting if you quit talking about me,

93.5 is allocated to Columbus. Bruce Quinn's health is not good right now and his is not operating anything but WHUM and his Seymour translator. If you heard something on 93.5 is is most likely a hobby pirate with nothing better to do for a few hours.

First rule of pirate radio club is "Don't brag about your pirate radio station." especially on a public forum. First rule of clandestine tower climbing club is "Don't talk about climbing towers without permission and hanging unauthorized antennas." especially on a public forum.

Clubber, your stories are about as true as most of the politicians in office now. If you told me Bob and Tom were on Q95, I'd tune in Q tomorrow morning to double check. I've known a dedicated pirate or two in my day, and like radiobob said, they didn't talk about it on public forums, and they sure as hell didn't climb cell towers "for relays". Good lord, I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that. You sir are a liar.
