2009 FUND-RAISING AT WJIB-740 A SUCCESS: $100,000.00 collected

It's 2009, and WJIB's listeners still came through. WJIB was seeking $98,000.00 for the year's expenses. The drive ended last week, but some more checks were already in the mail to total just over $100,000.00. WJIB's two major expenses are music licensing fees ($41,000.00) and rent ($30,000.00). All 50-or-so fund-raising requests were ad-libbed (no copy), and one of those 50 was aired every 3 hours or so, for 12+ weeks.
