Thanks for all the info. USA had It's a Wonderful Life and TNT had A Christmas Story twice last Saturday night. I would take it that A Christmas Story will also be on TNT in the marathon with TBS as well.

Yes, thanks for putting together such a comprehensive listing!
I am going to give this to a certain someone who insists on inflicting Hallmark
Christmas movies on me.

What, no Home Alone 2? That one was in hot rotation for awhile because
Trump has an 18-second cameo.

I didn't think about it until just recently, but I haven't seen Scrooged with Bill Murray listed anywhere. At least I have a DVD of it.

It's been a few years back but I can remember one Christmas that TBS had their usual marathon of A Christmas Story and AMC had a marathon of Christmas Vacation. I remember going back and forth watching the best parts of both all day. :)

The last few years AMC has had Westerns all day on Christmas, which really doesn't make much sense to me unless you're tired of or hate Christmas movies.

The Comet diginet is running promos for Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Though I have that one on a DVD I bought at a dollar store back in the 90's.

And it's on just about every streaming channel that shows public domain movies.

And on the deteriorating videotapes of all those Mysties (Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans) who faithfully recorded every episode of that series in the '90s. MST3K's treatment of "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" was one of the classic episodes.

Shout Factory TV has episodes of MST3K on their website and streaming channel. I checked and sure enough it's there:

I'll definitely have to check this out!

Here is a list of all their shows for Christmas: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/playlists/565614ae69702d07fcc92600

I first discovered SCCTM on our little local LPTV station in Ohio in 1992.

Though I remember as a kid it was heavily promoted on TV when released in theaters.

Thankfully AMC isn't showing Westerns on Christmas this year. But Scrooged still isn't listed anywhere.

The mystery deepens. Is the movie not part of any network's library? Is there something about this particular irreverent Christmas picture (with a properly sentimental ending, of course) that makes it less attractive a seasonal option than "Fred Claus" or "Bad Santa," which get repeated showings on multiple channels?
