The list is all promotion for PopCrunch. It's derived from how many votes/"nominations" each woman gets. Everyone pimps the site out, drives traffic to PopCrunch, and they reward the people that got them the most traffic. There's no voting process (other than the "nominations"), no screening, etc. It's simply a popularity contest in the dumbest of ways, with PopCrunch laughing all the way to the Adsense bank.
