89.9 FM Running A Prairie Home Companion at 2PM Eastern on Saturday

Yesterday afternoon at a little after 2PM Eastern in Southington, CT I picked up a station on the car radio on 88.9 FM running A Prairie Home Companion. I went to their website and could not find a station listed as carrying the show at 1 or 2PM Eastern. Locally there are 3 stations on 89.9 FM - WQTQ in Hartford they're an Urban Contemporary formatted station (plus I heard them mixing in with the station), WAPJ in Torrington, but they're not an NPR affiliate and they mostly simulcast programming from The University of Hartford WWUH, and there's a station a lower powerd station in Wallingford WWEB? They also are not an NPR affiliate. When they're not running they're own programming they too simulcast WWUH.

Any ideas on who this may have been that I picked up?

Prairie Home isn't an NPR show - it comes from American Public Media (aka Public Radio International).

The 89.9 in question was probably WSUF 89.9 Noyock NY, on the east end of Long Island. They're part of the WSHU family of stations based in Fairfield County, and they carry APHC at 2 PM on Saturdays.
