91X - Did they ever have a lot of requests for this song?

Just a thought in my mind. Have 91x ever play "Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo? Also, do they have a lot of request for this song since they are a Mexican license radio station.

They played the heck out of it when it was new and it fit them to a T. As for current requests ---- do people actually still do that??? Really though, who knows what's requested?

;D People still call and request songs...and if they request the new hot song you are playing evey hour, you edit the call in the 360, and air it in 20 min when you play it again.

If somebody requests somthing that you play once in a blue moon, you save it in the 360 and use the call in two months when you actually play that song during your air shift, that way you sound cool because you play that song, with the caller request, that nobody plays anymore and did it upon request! Keepin' it real!

If corporate calls you and requests that you play all the songs on their list, you STFU and play it then talk about how you are not all corporate like all those other guys...

If people are requesting it, I hope they're not playing it. That would feel hacky.
