93.9 The Ville (NBC Sports Radio)

Last night 93.9 began airing NBC Sports Radio.Don't know if this is a mistake or if they are changing from ESPN Radio.NBC was still on there today between the U of L baseball games.

Still there it seems. I don't even know how they could possibly make a mistake like this, they would have to intentionally be switching to NBC Sports to "accidentally" have that programming running for over 24 hours (and I made a big deal out of Easy Rock for accidentally going to dead air for a few hours after midnight when their Christmas music programming service ended in 2013!)... but on the other hand, they've been on the air for barely over three weeks and they made a big deal about how this was going to be a new outlet for ESPN Radio. They've been such a mess since they started, between all the technical difficulties and even how long it took them to get on the air (I sort of have a feeling that they could and should have gone on the air a month or two earlier than they did, if not even sooner), and now this.

They might also want to get one of those legally mandated station IDs on there at some point in time... because I haven't heard any of those with this NBC Sports programming.

Today I heard a station ID around 11:30 AM.The same one they have been using since Jan.29.I went to the NBC Sports Radio website earlier and found that some of their shows are indeed on 93.9. http://nbcsportsradio.com/stationfinder.html
For an example look for The Erik Kuselias Show and then look under Indiana. His show is on 6A-9A Mon.-Fri.
But what does WLCL-DF mean? And why is the market listed as "blank"?
What a mess!
