94.1 Translator flipped to English Christian iHope Radio

Well, now, keep in mind that President-elect Trump takes office in around 50 days. Ol' Hector (and his posse) may have already taken an involuntary bus ride back to Mexico by the time the FCC has concluded their investigation into his shenanigans on this side of the border. Unless there's a plan to shift these facilities to U.S. born family members, I would assume each one stands the risk of being revoked and his ability to hold any future licenses disqualified.

Before anyone gets all into a furor, that's not a political statement. That's a simple reality of what lies ahead, at least here in Texas. With the current sitting President in place, Abbott sent buses of illegals all over the country, on Texas taxpayers' dime.

Exactly what do you think our Governor is going to do once the next Commander in Chief basically gives him carte blanche to expel illegals as he sees fit?
I'm afraid I didn't quite follow your comment. While I may not support some of Hector's actions, I would like to present a few factual points. All members of the Hector/Centro organization are United States citizens. I am neither a judge nor the FCC to determine wrongdoing, but I believe the majority of violations committed by Hector and his organizations are likely to be resolved through substantial fines. It seems there may be some confusion with Cesar Guel, who was not an American citizen and was involved in certain illegal activities. Ultimately, the government seeks revenue and will likely impose substantial fines that significantly impact individuals financially. I proudly casted my vote for President Trump and sincerely hope that meaningful improvements are implemented at the FCC.

It's a translator but because of height it covers well. Yeah, i think La Nueva might have been on 94.1 before and i think at some point it also had espn or some sports format.

Dang rip I remember when nothing was on that frequency back in the day and I picked up Q94 KQXY Beaumont. I still do but since there's a station now it's harder to hear it.

Wasn't La Nueva there before ihope for a few years and is it a normal or a low powered station?
The 94.1 and 99.5 signals are translators licensed for 99 watts. La Nueva had previously been on 94.1 prior to the latest incarnation of iHope Radio. Before that 94.1 carried Radio Luz as well as Gow Media’s SportsMap 94.1 which was the initial successor to 1560 The Game.

thats right! good memory @Mediafrog+ i think when it has sports it would show up from time to time. La nueva can last as long as it wants its owned but the license holder.

SportsMap 94.1 lasted from October 2017 until January 2019. The sports programming from KGOW “1560 The Game” was moved to 94.1 after the AM was leased out to Viet Radio. SportsMap 94.1 was programmed separately from KFNC. In early 2019 the two were merged together on 97.5, and 94.1 flipped to Radio Luz, IIRC.

I do recall SportsMap 94.1 pulling some numbers in the low zeroes. Charlie Pallilo was the centerpiece of their programming.

Do you know how many watts ihope was or was it also 99

I want to say now La Nueva on 94.1 seems to be weaker now than it was as IHOPE which was also slightly weaker than what La Nueva used to be. Hopefully it’ll flip around a few more times to be as weak as I expect it to be.

The strength on 99.5 seemed to stay the same.
