Clear Channel purchases rights to Christmas Music

I think atlantachristmas is scamming us...just like the banner above.
no one could get this worked up over christmas tunes...or...seriously give 4 tunes for their top 5...
or not know 94.9's calls... the list goes on

You just have to show off your ability to play with the computer and make that cute little banner ... don't you, CR!

I happen to like his Top 5, err 4 list, especially the first one on the list...

Yuh know, Music City hasn't gone Christmas yet, whatcha waitin' for Father Christmas??

I'm sort of getting into the spirit of the season, now.

I could never understand the big deal about when a station plays Christmas music. Most of us dont't really care.

Next topic Please!

He/she is a troll. It's been obvious since the first few posts.

Kind of fun to watch some of the responses.

Why Haven't I reploed to this topic....because everytime I look at it I am appaled at the way people are treating this guy. If you can't say something nice nothing should be said at all. Just ignore it. I consider how this guy has been treated tantamount to flaming.

Now if Julius started piling on that character - oh, man...

When do Atlanta radio stations start playing all my favorite Hanukkah songs? Why does everyone get all worked up over Christmas? It's one freakin' day? The Festival of Lights lasts for eight nights, now that's a holiday. More is better so obviously Hanukkah is a better holiday!

I believe it is 8 "crazy" nights. At least that is what I heard on the radio.

Have you every gotten Hanukkah gifts? Trust me, tube socks aren't my definition of "crazy."

Well I for one am enjoying the Christmas Music.I'm listening between Wpch in Macon and Holly on Xm 103 which started Monday the 13th.In the town where I live everything is decorated anyways.Long about November 1st I get in the mood for some holiday music.I can see nothing wrong with stations going all Christmas now. It's a refreshing change from what you usually hear on the radio.

Why did I just spend the last 5 minutes reading all these posts?

Sadly you are like the rest of us Zero-lifers.

94.9 WLTM Flips to All Christmas Music as of 12:00pm!!

94.9 Has Flipped to All-Christmas as of 12:00pm Today!! Yes,I have been waiting for this Day!

Maybe you can now discover that elusive 5th song to add to your list! Hooray! Please tell us when you do. I'm partial to Chesnuts Roasting On an Open Fire myself, that's one you can really sing along to, even better than the Chock Full O'Nuts commercials!

Frankly, any station brave enough to flip to all Christmas Music has earned respect from me and here's why. One...nowadays it takes guts to be willing to wish people a merry christmas, let alone focus an entire playlist to the holiday started by the birth of Jesus. Two...the station is willing to take a chance with ratings and advertisers to flip formats. From previous ratings books I've seen, it usually works in the station's favor most of the time. Three...nowhere else in Atlanta do you get the variety of artists a Christmas format plays. True, Jingle Bells by 8 different artists in one hour is a bit much, but it doesn't happen all that often. Finally, I, like Atlantachristmas, like the change. Now if we could only get talk radio to flip to all Santa jokes we may have something. ;D
