Anyone have an update on 101.7 moving to 101.5 as well? Is this still happening even though Radio One sold to Main Line? ???
If the antenna was installed with feed line connected, that's pre-construction and strictly prohibited by the FCC...unless they do have a granted CP. Can't imagine Cox would do this if they weren't on solid legal ground.ncincy1 said:Flying-Dutchman:
All of the links you sent regarding LP's on 95.7 for Norwood/Cincinnati show tower/transmitter locations in different parts of Hamilton County other than Sharonville. Nothing even close to the location in the link below from the WHIO-FM FCC Website.

Still does not solve the mystery of why the new FM bays are were installed TODAY on the tower where the Cox "move-in" application is supposed to be.
?????
Maybe Cox did get pre-approval for the move-in? SOME has to have some scoop on this!

As far as the Sharonville thing goes...you guys know exactly what we know. Nothing. And, given the present speed of the FCC, it could be years if and before anything happens. So, stop holding your collective breaths.
Blue is just not your color.

I didn't think there was any rule against constructing a facility prior to the CP being issued, except that it would be bad business practice since you would be funding a project at risk on speculation that the CP would be issued sometime down the road.
