970 AM Bakersfield Drops Business News for Spanish

Yeah, the market population is kind of dictating the language switches. In Fresno, I think there are 5 spanish speaking stations.

In the words of Rick Rodham, every station below a 2 share should be required to go Spanish!

These Spanish langauge stations "make the book" as of the Summer 2007 report:

KOND
KRDA
KLBN
KOQQ
KLLE
KXOB
KAAT
KYNO
KSJV
KGST

That is 10.

The no-shows that are home to the MSA are
KMEN
KBHH
KMAK
KGEN
KWRU
KEYQ

The more popular Spanish language formats play no Christmas music; outside of a couple of isolated areas in Latin America, secular Christmas music is not common on the radio.
