99.9 WQRC Drops Sunday morning Smooth Jazz show for.... more Ryan Seacrest

I noticed this morning that 99.9 WQRC didn't have it's normal smooth jazz show on. It sounds like they're airing the Hot AC version of Ryan Seacrests AT40. I guess, like WSNE, this officially puts WQRC in the Hot AC catagory. I thought they might have moved the smooth jazz to 104.7, but no, sounds like normal programming there.

Besides that move, it also looks like they've really shifted even more towards Hot AC, just like WSNE. Cape 104 (103.9) appears to be more of a CHR now as well.

I'm not so sure Hot AC is accurate - there's still some regular mellow flavor there - Rhianna/Chris Brown, Daniel Powter, Leonna Lewis - I'd say more Mainstream AC.

Cape 104 is definitely a CHR.

All of those get frequent airplay on Hot AC stations though. I think if they're airing the Hot AC version of AT40 on Sundays, that is about as official as it gets that they have evolved once again.
