A banner at the top says wlrs is beating there old music numbers with talk?

I believe it is a ad put up by trn but is it true???I bet the sales department is having an easier time w wlrs as talk but overall is this true. From call letters that use to be beautiful music and everything else inbetween so sad what has happened to the calls.

They should have been retired sad just sad but change is a must in life and change it has over the 2 mullineums!!!

I looked at the latest ratings. WLRS has 0.6! I don't think that's better ratings then when WLRS had a music format. I have to believe that TRN put up that banner. I also agree about the WLRS call letters. They should be retired or put to good use elsewhere.

With all the different music books they've had, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the books was a 0.5 or less...in which case, the statement may be correct. Talk about living up to low expectations!

Just a cursory glance at Billboard on googlebooks shows they had a 10.4 12+ in Fall of 1984.

But 1984 lets see there was no chr n why the owners of kj 100 flipped the chr to ac is beyond me???Has to be one of the dumbest moves in louisville radio!!! But lets see if they were still the new kj 100 today they would have been new now for 31 years i think i was just a little kid back then but i think that was the year 99.7 flipped from beautiful music lol.

But then lrs figuered out what would work at the time today to much competition.

In 1984 no 98.9 no 101.3 no b-96 no 100.5 no 105.1 no 104.3 no 93.1 no 103.5 107.7 no 94.7

Whomever can figure out what to do with 105.1 and make money with it good luck to them.

Merry christmas radio guys and gals!!!

I remember sometime back in the 00s 105.1 had a 3.7 or so but i also wlrs never made a penny at 105.1
