A day in the life of a lamptimer

Two questions:

#1 Who has the Mayor's address?

#2 Do his neighbors allow Gremlins to park on their street?

...now the journey begins to page #1440!

Yours truly wouldn't be allowed in. My respectfully bringing up reality on his Facebook page hit a nerve a few months ago. ;)

I'll just be parked outside on the street, sitting on the hood of my car, hearing the festivities, music, cheerful voices, with whiffs of the scent of delicious BBQ chicken, hot dogs, and burgers flowing through the hot summer day. 8)

You're gonna need a big hood, Lauren. None of us are getting over that fence.

I'm going to need to borrow a Middle Eastern rug from the Hut, too... that hood will be hot!

Actually, the number of us who are on the uninvited list is such that we could probably all kick in a buck and rent a nice, air conditioned RV.

...and we'll bring several hookahs in case you want to re-live the glory daze of The Big Red Radio! Nowadays, our buzz comes from Hindi Hits, restaurant reviews, how to hold your putter, and of course, wornout oldies!

Rock On, Lumberyard 14~Forty!

Congrats to Lumberyard 1440 for making three ratings books in a row! Has this ever happened in their history?

Dunno...perhaps the Old Gringo can do the research on your question and give us a brief 10 page response ;) Nurse Jeff and I recall him saying that the typical Home Depot store has more listeners to their PA system than Lumberyard 14~Forty. But we bet KAZG has more listeners than the number of Home Depot workers who know which aisle has the metric hammers!

Easy...they're in the same aisle as the Fallopian tubes! ;D

Nah, not enough obscure data for 10 pages. 7 or 8 would be the max.

I thought they were between the buckets of relative bearing grease and the spools of chow line. ;D

Celebrating these boards' longest and most entertaining thread.

Also, if you don't have a rug at the Hut, The Dump is constantly exiting the rug business! ;)

Kinda like our annual Going Out of Bidniss sale at the Buckeye Media Hut. I think we'll be up to the 27th Annual next spring!

Nurse Jeff and I wuz wonderin' who sells those sponsored PSAs and how much they go for? You know the ones..."Zeke's Muffler shop in El Mirage reminds you not to stick your hand in a garbage disposal while the switch is in the on position. Many right handed people wind up as lefties when they do this. Your safety is our concern at Zeke's Muffler shop in El Mirage".

If the price is right, Los Buckeye Boyz might be interested in joining the long list of satisfied advertisers on Lumberyard 14~Forty Is $5 a pop the going rate? :D

1440 has edgier programing nowadays, I think the deep fat fryer fumes from the Jack in the BOX are influencing the person doing the programing.
