Double Godfather?
Friday night the Nurse and I were engaged in a little aural gratification when we stumbled upon Lumberyard 14~Forty playing "Close To You" by The Carpenters. "What could they possibly play after this in order to make good on their claim of being a rock'n roll oldies station?" we asked ourselves. Well, non other than the Godfather of Soul screeching out "I Feel Good". Alright...back on track!! So after the final scream and drum crescendo, the Goldminers treated us to "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag". Take that, Karen Carpenter!
Back to back Beatles, now back to back J.B. & The Famous Flames.
YIKES!
