A great item of Phoenix radio history

Former Republic columnist Jon Talton has started a blog post about the history of downtown Phoenix. At the top of the first installment is a great picture of the city center taken from the Westward Ho "in the 1930s". We all know the Westward Ho still supports the original KPHO-TV tower (installed after the picture was taken). But just south of the Security Building there is another building supporting two free-standing towers. That looks like an AM longwire site. Anybody know if that is the original KOY or perhaps something else?

I believe that is the Heard Bldg., which is still there, albeit in kind of shabby condition. If I'm not mistaken, KTAR once had that tower.
