A little bit of deja vu...WGAD calls are back at AM 930

I just found this on the FCC website. WJBY Rainbow City has changed calls to WGAD..again...after swapping those calls with the original WGAD at 1350 several years ago and back again. AM 1350 has taken on the WTDR calls, while 92.7 Talladega is now WTDR-FM.

Jesus H Christ, can these people stop playing music chairs with their calls already? ::)

From the 50's, it WJBY, then WKFX, then WJBY, then WGAD, then WJBY, now WGAD.

And did the news format from 1350 move with the calls? If 1350 is not WTDR it makes me wonder if they're simulcasting the FM now or something. ???

Just checked...AM 1350 is simulcasting WTDR-FM's country format.

AM 930 is still doing southern gospel. They are still referring to themselves (and IDing hourly) as WJBY.

Can't believe they dropped the news/talk format. So that means Thunder Country is also being heard on the W257CT translator, I bet.
