A reposting of my April 4, 2006 message to the News Departments at NBC and ABC

You are being handed an amazing opportunity ( if all the rumors are correct )
to increase the ratings of your evening newscasts.

I was hoping that true intelligence would rule the day at CBS news, but I guess not.

I realize that Bob could have retired already and that his current gig could not be viewed as a long term programming opportunity for CBS.

However, CBS is making a mistake.

She is very talented and is largely responsible for the ratings that
"Today" currently enjoys.........does anyone understand that the evening
news is a very different type of newscast? (duh)

I will give her 2 years before the CBS gives her a new opportuity.
If I am wrong ....I will apologise here in 2008 or 2009.

PS--NBC is a double winner........because if the rumors are true again....
they get Meredith Vieira........"Today" wins again.
