ABC HURTING ON TUE. NIGHT (WAITING FOR MARCH'S DANCING WITH THE STARS)

The only show I watch on ABC Tuesdays is "Last Man Standing" and although I usually enjoy it, it seems to be uneven in its quality.

After quick looks at "Modern Family" and an even quicker look at "Cougar Town" I erased those from my schedule. "The River" seems like another "Lost" which was a loser IMHO so I haven't bothered to watch. Doesn't sound like any critics are impressed either.

You'd think with corporate Disney as the owner there would be plenty of in-house talent to put some really good shows together. Apparently Disney is now focused on throw-away kids animation and not doing anything for the over-8 crowd.

would it be too much to add 1-2 disney network shows (Jesse & that Selena Gomez show off disney and put it on ABC Tuesdays nights vs Glee)?

That "Wipeout" show reminds me an awful lot of the TV program
"Ow, My Balls!" from the movie "Idiocracy".

Everybody loves a pratfall. I think the nicknames they give the contestants and the dialog is the funniest part of the show. John and John are a good pair.

Are you saying "Ow, My Balls!" is going into production to take the following time slot?

When I saw that, thanks to the Super Bowl, NBC had passed ABC
for the season to date, it made me stop and think. ABC was long
my favorite network, but there's nothing there I want to see now
and really hasn't been since Disney bought the network. But NBC
still needs work, too, to get back into third place or better. CBS
is simply a juggernaut, with what is it--23 of the top 50 shows?

Which makes me think: why doesn't Les Moonves, this generation's
Fred Silverman or Brandon Tartikoff, get more publicity besides the
fact he's Julie Chen's husband?

And now ABC has 2 new series with the "B" word (rhymes with witch) in them...

In the past it was A-Beatles-C, now its A-B***h-C? :-\

That's something I would like to see. Even on Saturday they kept showing the same "Hannah Montana" reruns over and over instead of advancing to the newer seasons, and I'd like to see those. I liked the show, though not her music.

Selena Gomez is also cute.
