ABC Overtakes NBC For Top Spot in Nightly News Race

I hate to brag but I predicted long before Bill O'Reilly that ABC's World News with Charles Gibson would overtake NBC and Brian Williams. Gibson is the perfect example what a news anchor should be; Serious, yet compassionate. A professional who does not resort to "entertainment gimmicks" like Couric does. Congratulations King Charles, may your reign last a long time.

And the gap between ABC and NBC continues to widen with a loss of over 570,000 viewers at NBC. Now the producer of the NBC Nightly News, a cheerleader of moving it to the left, has been fired. Katie Couric has also lost 120,000 viewers.

Bill O'Reilly, on the other hand, was touting on the air that his program now reaches over 4,000,000 viewers (including the two repeats at 11 PM EST and 4 AM EST). At 8 PM EST, he beats CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and CNN Headline News combined + over 300,000 viewers to spare.
