Who were actors who reprised their movie role when they made a tv show from it. A few were:
Vic Tybak on Alice
Debbie Allen, Albert Hague on Fame

Well . . . John Vernon reprised his National Lampoon's Animal House role of "Dean Wormer" on the very short-lived TV series Delta House . . . as did Stephen Furst (as "Kent 'Flounder' Dorfman").

Jack Webb did at least two Dragnet movies where he had played Joe Friday. The first one from 1954 (?) I doubt would count since Dragnet was already on TV and radio by that point but the second Dragnet flick from 1966 was done before the late 60's version had started.

Barbara Eden in both incarnations of "Harper Valley PTA"

Eileen Brennan in "Private Benjamin"

John Houseman in "The Paper Chase"

"Here Come The Nelsons"..with Ozzie, Harriet, David and Ricky. The movie I believe came out just before their long running TV show.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044701/

also Arthur Lake who played Dagwood Bumstead in all of the 40s ( well 1938-1950 actually ) Blondie flicks starred as Dagwood in the mid 50s Blondie TV show...without the movie Blondie Penny Singleton.

Clueless...........

Stacey Dash (Dionne), Donald Faison (Murray), Elisa Donovan (Amber), Wallace Shawn (Mr. Hall), and Twink Caplan (Ms. Geist) all reprised their movie roles for the television series. Sean Holland, who appeared as Lawrence in the movie, portrayed the new character Sean Holiday in the TV series.

And don't forget "Ozzie's Girls" which was very brief in the 70s.
