Adam Bagni will leave Sinclair owned station WJAR-TV for WHDH as a freelance staff member on April 21st.

WJAR reporter, Adam Bagni, heads to WHDH in Boston. He’s taking on a freelance position.

He’s been a staff reporter at the NBC affiliate in Providence for five years.

“It was an absolute privilege to work at a legacy station like WJAR, alongside a group of incredibly talented broadcast professionals, and to have the opportunity to cover both news and sports in a place where I grew up – Southern New England,” said on his Facebook page on April 6.

Bagni’s last day at the Sinclair-owned station will be April 21.

“The good news, is that I hope many of our viewers in Bristol County will follow me to 7News,” said Bagni.
