Adult TV ‘addiction’ showdown in South Africa

I thought I put this here since there is no "International TV" board.

A group representing 1,400 South African doctors (‘Doctors for Life’) have hit StarSat with a writ demanding that the pay-TV broadcaster remove two ‘adult’ channels (Playboy TV and Private Spice) from its channel line-up. The application was filed in the High Court at Pretoria, and requests that the ‘pornography’ licence issued to StarSat’s subsidiary ODM be revoked.

These 'Doctors for Life' know it's 2014 and only the uninformed and uninspired (or hotel-bound) actually watch these channels, right? Even over in SA they have access to the Internet; I'm surprised in all of these moves to digital nobody's been cutting adult channels at all because only a few these days subscribe for $15/month or $10/show. My cable system hasn't even bothered with adding their HD equivalents even as they added an all-cricket channel the last week.
