AFTER COMPLAINTS EVANSVILLE, IN. ME-TV AFFILIATE DROPS LOCAL RADIO SHOW

They want their Me-TV! The local radio show was replaced by the morning Me-TV programs
it was not allowing viewers to see.

So maybe there is hope for Jackson, TN...........keep up the pressure!

I know it makes me mad that I can't watch LOST IN SPACE on some Saturdays because WSB 2.2
is airing arena football!

I would like more Me-TV, but WBBJ isn't going to drop CBS and go entirely Me-TV.

I don't understand why any TV station ever considers simulcasting a morning radio show at all (not talking things like Clark Howard in his TV-friendly studio or anything Stern and Beck do with professional budgets, though Rush's online stream is pretty much this to the letter). Not only does it always translate badly over because you have to deal with bad remote controlled "city council on public access" camera angles in a radio studio designed for 1975 (and there's a reason the term 'face for radio' exists with some of the morning zoos), but then you have to deal with their advertising breaks and working around music periods. That, and it just make it seem like the TV station is too lazy to even get a fresh-faced intern into a closet to do a basic news break.

I can stand 'radio on TV' in small doses like cross-promotions between stations and the like, but to watch the sausage made rather than just hearing it just seems to be something I can't watch. Of course, there are some radio show webcasts, but at least they're going out to only a small audience rather than an entire market.

From what I've seen in other posts technically it's possible for WBBJ to make changes to where another subchannel could be added for ME-TV IF they'll do it. I've registered my comments several times, and there is a Facebook page asking to make ME-TV a full time channel, but I've never seen WBBJ respond in any way when the subject of ME-TV comes up on their Facebook page, or to e-mails that I've sent. I get the impression that they're in no hurry to get it done, no matter how many people want it.  ???
