Agree or disagree: Mixx 105.5 Dollyville sounding pretty good these days

Snarl if you wish. I think WSEV 105.5 is sounding pretty good now. I don't hear the same songs over and over. Bill Burkett apparently knows the good tunes from the 80's and 90's. Good job Bill..

Please clarify. Bill's been around awhile. Do you mean he knows the good songs from the 1880's and 1890's or the 1980's and 1990's? Chances are both are true. ;D

Bill, if you wanna throw a fat joke back my way...I got a million of 'em.

I enjoy listening to Mixx 105.5 when visiting Pigeon Forge...I just wish they streamed so I could listen to them at home in North Carolina.

Agreed as well. And don't forget about "106.3 The Mountain" too. Both stations are a joy to listen to.

Actually I've been listening more to 106.3 the "mountain". Funny how I seem to know all those songs. Maybe cause I listened to the radio since I was 7. I believe that was since 1972. I'm feeling old now and I'm not even 50 yet.

I disagree,,, Maybe cause im just in the very low AC demo,,, But I listen to Star 102.1 and Electric 94.9 when im in Severville, Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg..... I guess 105.5 is okay for a local station.

I certainly like the playlist better than B 97.5's. At least Mix sounds like an AC station while B97.5 sounds more like classic hits most of the time. I've hated B 97.5's direction since Jeff Jarnigan took over as PD. Way too gold based for a mainstream AC IMHO. There is a hole a mile wide for a more current based, bright AC or a Hot AC in Knoxville.

Agree. I enjoy listening to 105.5 when I'm visiting. Sad to hear they sold off the AM station.
