Air America to file bankruptcy, but will stay on air, AND...

How about the "John Madden/Lewis Black Awkward Hour'?

Lewis, "John, how do you feel about the current U.S. involvement in the Middle East?"
John, "Well you see, people can hear us because I have microphone in front of me."
Lewis, "I hate my job so much."

I'd tune in.

"Air America to file bankruptcy..." Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! ;D

Now if someone would step up and FIRE Nancy Grace, that would be some GREAT news!

Progressive Talk Idol?

Why not? Talk radio could use a shot of reality TV glitz. They could get Rush to be the mean Simon Cowell-type judge and Janeane Garofalo to be the Paula-type who thinks everyone is the most awesome host ever.

I'd listen.

WW1 just hired the former honcho to work on the corporate level. Smart move since both are big time losers and Ill bet the share goes to 3 dollars before years end. Just my 2 cents.

If they're looking for new hosts, how about Lewis Black along with Larry the Cable Guy. That'd be funny, I don't care who you are....

Make it David Cross and LTCG instead. That would be sheer comedy platinum as long as they could be restrained from actually killing one another. I'd skip primetime TV for that radio show.

from what I've been able to decifer from LTCG's bits, he's a Conservative.

That's the point. Think Hannity and Colmes, only with the liberal being highly articulate and blessed with an excellent sense of comic timing and the conservative only being allowed to respond with fart jokes.

Actually, all joking aside, Larry the Cable Guy got his start doing comedy on...Orlando Radio!!!!! Although the before-mentioned scenario is highly unlikely, it would be funny and true to Larry's roots. I remember seeing the billboards all over Orlando for Larry the Cable Guy...showing plumber's crack!!!
