Air America to lose NYC flagship - replaced by Randy Michaels' talker

Air America will be losing their NYC flagship AM station in a fewmonths, as the owners of the station have decided to do a joint venture with Randy Michaels, former Clear Channel RadioPresident. Michaels, whose real name is Benjamin Homel,is the head of Radioactive LLC which has a construction permitfor a new FM radio station at Two Rivers, WI... which remainsunbuilt.
 
Randy Michaels now says, Radio Business Reportstory of April 27th, was 'premature'.Michaels company syndicates Jerry Springer onthe radio as well as Ed Schwartz out of NorthDakota.

...Ed who? Ed Schultz is the guy in Fargo, Ed Scwartz was a longtime Chicago overnighter at WIND/WGN/WLUP...
 
You're right. It's Ed Schultz, and Randy Michaels network is called P-1. Radioactive LLC is his radio station division.Latest at www.insideradio.com has Air America extendingtheir lease and paying more.
