Bill Farrior sold WIAM and WSEC (103.7) but not to Lifeline. The AM may have gone to Lifeline right away but I don't think so. Of course 103.7 was sold numerous times. Lifeline purchased 98.9 WDRP in Windsor and signed it on to go with its AM. Later they sold 98.9 to the Bear. As for 97.7, it was originally owned by Bermey Stevens and was WDJB and was the original home of the legendary Little Walt. It was sold (I think to Bishop Willis) and did an urban gospel format for many years. Later Lifeline purchased this station and signed it on as Lifeline. Lifeline then applied to move the COL to Duck, NC and increase the power but some environmentalists protested so they modified it to move it to Winfall, NC with significantly more power. Ever since then they have been working with EMF on the sale and upgrade. Lifeline continues to own AM-900 and have their Southern Gospel format on there.
I hope this clears everything up.
