Since there's been a lot of talk about KOKC, I decided to post an aircheck of the Big 1520 from 1990.
Here's a very busy Kent Jones working the morning shift on KOMA-AM before 3-D Danny and the AM/FM Simulcast. Doing full service "Real Oldies" with PAMS jingles and lots of sweet reverb. 50's, 60's, Motown, some Christmas comedy, and only 3 songs from the early seventies.

Part Two - http://www.divshare.com/download/10403079-2e9
Tech Notice - This was recorded on a Maxell UD-120 cassette (no Dolby B) from about 6-8 AM on a Sharp "Twincam" Jambox at a Motel 6 in South OKC during an overnight stop on-route to see freinds in Wichita. I dont know what kind of processing KOMA-AM had back then, but they were cranking! While dubbing it to my PC the needles on my JVC cassette deck barely moved off the 100% point.
It's a damn shame the bad the Big 1520 doesn't sound this BIG anymore. Enjoy and comments are welcome! ;D
