Up until now, I've been as diplomatic as I could about things I have discussed on this message board. This may tend to be a little difficult for me now. So please bear with me.
From 2008-09, "The WKPT Radio Network" ran this 30-minute block with the same gospel songs, and the same "SuperHits of the Tri-Cities" liners in the same spots, every Sunday morning. Sometimes it ran from 8:30-9, other times it ran from 9:30-10, and there were some times when it ran both at 8:30-9 and 9:30-10.
I made a recording of this in 2008, hoping one day to post it on my website. I figured since it's been at least a year since they stopped running this, the coast is clear, and I can put it there now.
Assuming (and I know about that saying) that you can sit through this thing:
Oh, there's a change of pace when you hear the female singer, but soon it becomes apparent that those songs are just as repetitive.
The one highlight of the recording is at the beginning of it, when you hear an outro to the previous broadcast done by, well, someone (whose name I don't wanna mention within a mile of this other stuff) who you wouldn't expect to hear doing gospel broadcast intros or outros. And a great job she did there! After that point, well... I can't mention any more than I have already. Just hear the thing here:

- See how much you can stand hearing this guy who sounds like Howard Sprague - sometimes double-, triple-tracked, or more.
- Count how many songs you think are gonna be mercifully over, but NOPE!
