Yes it is. Same Ron O'Brien that was on 99X in NYC and KIIS in Los Angeles. He's been in Philly for almost 10 years now. Perhaps in a future week, I'll post some of him on WLCE (Alice 104.5) circa 2000.
 
Thanks for the recent aircheck.

I had passed through Philly a week ago Saturday afternoon (the 17th) and tried to aircheck WOGL and some other stations. I got about an hour each of WSNI and WMGK, but alas, WOGL was running an all day radiothon for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. A great, great cause.....just not good for airchecking!

WOGL 98.1 Phila (Ron O'Brien)

Is that where Ron O'Brien is? In Philadelphia. He used to be a hot personality in Chicago on WCFL. I guess he would fit in pretty well with WOGL. I have a nice collection of airchecks of him put out by Man From Mars (I think). Great airchecks of him going back to KUDL in Kansas City from the summer of 1970. And following him through many markets and years in his career.
