While KFAV has been a Westplex country station for 20 years, how many of you remember the 'V-100' CHR era of the station?
Being slightly out of the St. Louis market allowed the station to break newer hits first, and it was a playlist I enjoyed. During the overnight hours, V-100 added alternative cuts that weren't played on commercial radio at the time.
The V-100 airchecks I have include the sign-on from 7 November 1991, an overnight "lunch" show from 27 and 29 May 1992, and from 8 August 1993. The files are 192/44.1, and can be found at this folder link:
