Albany/Capital District Albany's NPR Station Missing from Ratings. But It's in the Springfield MA Ratings

An oddity in the May 25 ratings. Albany's NPR outlet, 90.3 WAMC-FM, is missing from the list. But in the most recent Springfield MA ratings, WAMC-FM is listed at #11. Springfield is pretty far from Albany. But the tower for WAMC-FM is actually in Western Massachusetts.

WAMC-FM runs 10,000 watts on the highest peak in Massachusetts, Mount Greylock. So it is grandfathered at a higher power than it should have in Region B, helping it reach Springfield as well as Albany and parts of Vermont and Connecticut as well.

.

WAMC covers much of upstate NY and western Mass by virtue of a number of simulcasts and translators - WAMC gets credit for listening to any of them.
Non-commercial ratings show up in Nielsen by virtue of the Radio Research Consortium which has an arrangement for its member stations. Why WAMC would show in Springfield, but not in Albany (where it ranked 7th last month and was listed as recently as February,) is likely an oversight on RRC's part.
