all 90's format on Fresno radio- will this market be the next in line?

Well, since there's markets like Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Memphis, Tulsa, Baton Rouge, Harrisburg, Albany, Georgia, Louisville that are doing the all 90's format now, could the Fresno market be next? I heard 105.1 plays a lot of 90's rock, but not nearly classic alternative, & 97.9 may also play some 90's R&B, which I don't think that station has pretty low ratings in the market. I also think 101.1 plays 90's, but I think it has a tightly controlled playlist. Any others that play some 90's as well? Let me know what you think about this idea.

104.1 KFRR plays a lot of 90s Alternative Rock, 103.7 KRZR will play some 90s Hard Rock, and yes The Blaze 105.1 Plays some 90s Grunge bands ,but is more of a Classic Rock that Really Rocks from the 70s and the 80s, as far a having a all 90s station in Fresno like KBZC 106.5 The Buzz in Sacramento I really don't think so. It's well covered already, a station just for the 90s will get old real quick, I don't think Sacramento's KBZC is doing so well ,they were better of keeping it KWOD Alternative Rock.

Re: all 90's format will this market be the next in line? No CHR Will!

CHR isn't garbage what's garbage is Fresno having 4-5 spanish stations, 3 A/C stations, 2 Hip Hop stations, a rhythmic oldies station. there's no CHR at all not even a rhythmic leaning one. what's going on with 106.3

CHR is well covered in Fresno, I don't what your expecting all music is covered, a station like the old days that plays all genres of music doesn't work here anymore, between KFRR, KWYE, KALZ, KSEQ, KBOS, KSOF and KRZR, all current hits are covered one way or another like the hit from Blondie, It's been tried several times it don't work here.
All catagories are covered as well, Oldies KABX, KHIT, KOKO, KMGV, and if you count KMJ-FM 105.9 on the Weekend, Classic Rock KJFX and KKBZ. the only thing really missing is the 80s new wave music.
Fresno Doesn't need a all 90s station.

I mean one radio station where you can hear Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Alternative, Rap, some country

There hasn't been a sucessful station like that here since KYNO-FM in the 80s and even then it was more R&B leaned. When Q-97 first started as a Top 40 in 1999 is was a mix of R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Alternative Rock and Rock but slowly leaned more and more on R&B and Rap to today.
When 101.1 dropped Star 101.1 for Y-101 a few years ago it was also a all format Top-40, ratings were bad ,worse that when they were Star- 101.1(Modern A/C) so they went back to that format. 106.3 was the last station to try it at the beginning and ended up like KBOS and KSEQ, couldn't compete and went dark.
All Format CHR just doesn't work in this market.
Even JACK-FM failed.
