All News 106.7 is Here…Finally [last song, audio, first impressions]

While the mention of an Atlanta news history stunt would have been interested but I am glad they just started minutes ago.

The stereo light is off on my HD radio, in minutes i will check HD2 to see if they shut Mariah carey up yet.

Sounds similar to WGST in the days they actually had a news department. So many voices sound familiar.
 
WYAY is using Fox 5 for weather and interviews from the news. There is supposed to be a "news center". Connie Cummings was there. My first prediction of morning anchors - Andy Rose and Michelle Wright are the morning news anchors. Pretty fast paced, and not boring like WSB.
 
frequent commercials, but they are very short. Greg Talmage speaks English. I asked Marshall Adams to start airing Airport security checkpoint and parking wait times for the busiest airport in the world. He did what I asked. That is a good PD, if I've ever seen one.
 
680 the fan, like I said, would air sports at :15 and :45.

I'll point it out to the PD. They could just say the time one minute before it really is on their clocks.

wsb is now the talk station with a news department smaller than it has ever been.
 
So glad they are doing airport reports. It makes them different. I thought "traffic trouper" was a WSB term. Greg Talmage just used it. Johanne Feldman goes to my church. She is a great on air talent.
 
They just put a listen live link on their allnews1067 website. This truly s**ks. I want my Greatest Hits back. In the past 30 minutes Journey 97.9 has not played one 70's song and only one song that I like.
 
OK. Commercial break. Is anyone monitoring Journey?

UPDATE: posts crossed. Is guess Journey IS being monitored.

Now back to the new.......
