All News adopts new tag-team schedule ahead of Kimmer Show Launch

Listening in this morning, it appears that All News is now rotating its three morning/midday anchors (John Lisk, Andy Rose, Cheryl Castro) to fill in the seven hours between 5AM and the Kimmer Show from Noon-3. So, at least temporarily, this is the schedule:

5-7AM: Andy Rose by himself.
7-10AM: Andy Rose and Cheryl Castro
10AM-Noon: Cheryl Castro and John Lisk.
Noon-3PM: Kimmer (Lisk serves as newsreader.)

I have no knowledge yet as to whether or not this scheduling solution is permanent or not. But this is the sked for the first week of the Kimmer.

Still no clue for why Michelle Wright left/was fired from morning duty.
 
Jennifer should do the news more often. She does the news at a faster pace. I felt I heard more stories in the couple of minutes she was reading. I wish the whole station was at that tempo.
 
So they are not keeping up with 15/45 sports traffic every 10 minutes on the 6s and atlanta business chronicle on 20/50. When Peterson was in his heyday on WGST they had twice and hour sports traffic on the 10s and ABJ updates but the mostly news station just killing the format.

The morning newscast sounds better with Andy Rose and Cheryl Castro. They're having to pay for "The Kimmer," so someone had to go. Hopefully more listeners will notice the improvement in morning drive.

I think it would better if Rose and Castro were on together from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. I've listened to the station before 7:00 a.m. and after 7:00 a.m. this week. Andy Rose is better on his own without Michelle Wright. But, I agree, put Rose and Castro on together for four hours.
 
Noticed that AN106.7 was NOT carrying the Georgia Tech-Clemson game last night. Was anyone carrying it instead?
